Lisa has served the justice system from all sides – as a prosecutor, as a defense lawyer, as a staff attorney, as a supervising attorney, and as a legal instructor. Lisa understands the legal system, how our legal system affects our community, and most importantly, she understands the community in which she serves.
Lisa Lott has seen it all – nothing surprises her after 25 years in the courts. Perspective and common sense in the courtroom come from years of day-to-day trial experience and from meaningful contact with the community. She fully understands how our courts affect the lives of people in our community. She has a fundamental understanding of the needs of victims, when punishment and/or deterrence is appropriate, and when rehabilitation should be offered.
